LXG Open #25

On Thursday(1/19/12) we will be hosting LXG Open #25!

Rules

1. Map Pool is:
MLG DualSight
MLG Shakuras Plateau
MLG Shattered Temple
MLG Tal’darim Altar
MLG Aniga Shipyard
GSL Bel'Shir Beach (Winter)
GSL Crossfire SE
GSL Daybreak
TLMC Cloud Kingdom
All of the MLG maps are created by MLGMaps; if you play on a different version, you will have to recreate and play the right version.

2. LXG will select each map that will be played for every round before each tournament starts. In best of 3, 5, or 7 matches, LXG will select round 1 map. The loser for each game, after that, will
select the next map to be played for that round out of the map pool. NO REPEATS of a map will be played in a best of 3, 5, or 7. Players may only re select a map if they have moved on to a new round.
Check out the brackets over top of each round you will see what map you need to start on.

3. You CANNOT switch your race once you’ve played your first Rd. 1 match.

4. Report all scores to PfreshLXG. If he is not on; report your scores to any other LXG member that isn’t in a game for the tournament.

5. NO BM! BM will not be accepted, you’ll be warned, if you continue than you will forfeit your game, if you still don’t stop than expect to be banned from these opens.

6. There will be no in game observing if you want to watch jump on the stream- Twitch.tv/TheRealNanMan

This sucks, cause I won't be able to play tonight as I've got stuff scheduled. Blah!

There were a couple of things I thought of for clarification, though:

First, when it says that you can't switch race after round one, does that include random, or do you have to stick with whatever race you randomed in round one for the rest of the tournament?

And second, if it's on playhem, can't users submit their own scores to playhem.com and thus not worry about messaging LXG members? Or is that for something non-playhem related? It doesn't really matter so much, I'm just curious.

First.. Sucks you can't play tonight

Second.. If you choose to go as R(random) the whole tournament, then you can choose to do so.. You do not play as R once, then play as that race the whole time.. You're just Random.

Third.. The Caster and myself(Tournament Director) are located in the same room, so it's nice for clarification.. Plus, it helps me stay on top of the match play.
