Hi everyone! ProfSc here again, not to post any replays, but doing something equally important for the long-term health of eSports.
A friend of mine is applying to Fordham University for business school, with the intention of pursuing a career developing eSports. He's currently in the running for a scholarship competition where contestants submit videos and people vote for them.
Here's the link:
Fordham Business Challenge
For a little background information, Captain America is a personal friend of mine who is a diamond Terran and has participated in two of the LXG Plat-Diamond Opens. He's really dedicated to developing eSports and making it more popular to a wider audience. I would link all of the things he's developed, youtube, own3d stream, etc., but I'm not sure what the forum's policies on doing that are.
He's a great guy, is developing a series on a Terran path to masters for youtube (will maybe branch out into the other races) and has supported my efforts in the past especially by watching LXG VODs and assisting me when I was teaching a course on Starcraft at Vassar College. If we can get him to win this scholarship competition, the future of eSports will be in good hands.
Captain America has ProfSc's Seal of Approval.
The voting ends in less than 24 hours, so let's get him the win! gl hf!
